Mr. David Chen has extensive professional experiences and a favorable knowledge structure combining scientific and managerial expertise. Working for first-class State-owned Company and Sino-foreign equity joint venture for 15 years, responsible for technical, maintenance, purchasing, project, production, marketing, HR and training management, he took different positions such as production manager, HR development manager and training senior manager.
Before joining AMA (China), Mr. David Chen worked with China First Automobile Works and FAW-Volkswagen. He was involved in and responsible for Audi large-sized product investment introduction, production line establishment, cost center establishment, quality system certification, QC methods promotion, Volkswagen marketing promotion, reserved manager, assessment center establishment and implementation, training management system establishment, and departmental performance system establishment and implementation. Therefore, Mr. David Chen is familiar with the operation of various functions such as production, technology, purchasing, quality, marketing, HR and training management. He also has a good command of overall operation. Besides he has in-depth research on and insights into the essentials of management and the job features and behavioral styles of personnel with different hierarchies.
As AMA’s senior consultant, Mr. David Chen integrates years of experiences as department leader into training and management consultation. For the past five years, he designed and delivered a series of effective programs on team leadership, problems solving and decision making, process management, project management, performance management, communication skills, negotiation skills, time and stress management, lean production method, quality management, training system establishment, action learning etc. He provides training programs and consulting services for about 2,100 persons per year. And he once delivered 238 days of training programs a year.
