Building on AMA’s leadership research results and global leadership survey findings,
leveraging our 10 years’ management training experience, and combining our learnings
in the past three years through interviews with numerous Chinese senior executives,
we developed the below leadership competence model for Chinese managers. We divide
a leader’s role into 4 dimensions: business growth, operation excellence, people
alignment, and competence development, and split each dimension into 3 aspects,
with definitions and descriptions on the following pages.
