Ms. Maggie Huang has 16 years of working experience in HRM and professional training at large multinational corporations and has acquired extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience in hr series programs including presentation, communication, time and stress management, personal skills, personnel management and development and recruitment and interview etc.
In her earlier years, Ms. Huang worked with Philips (China) as HR manager for as long as 7 years, responsible for overall HRM including staff recruitment and selection, personnel training and development, performance management and evaluation, Compensation & Benefit etc. She took initiative to establish talent-selection system in the north region, making outstanding contribution to the personnel development of the north region of Philips (China). When working with Genesis Management Consulting, Ms. Huang is committed to the development and execution of training. She thinks deep on how to design and deliver an effective training program that the adults are willing to accept. And she became the world-wide Certified Trainer for Lateral Thinking and Certified Administrator for MBTI.
Later, Ms. Huang joined Computer Associates, the fourth largest management software company in the world, as the learning and development manager for North Asia. During her stay, as one of the core members of Employee Engagement Strategy for North Asia, she worked together with the senior management team to raised the employee dedication rate by 35% within two years. Meanwhile she also created the competence model for the core functions and designed and delivered a series of training programs applied to the development of CA’s North Asia staff. She also promoted the program to all the managers as a compulsory course including Hong Kong and Taiwan. Besides she accumulated an amount of experience in delivering programs to IT sales, technicians, and R&D personnel.
Ms. Huang is open-minded and passionate. In her delivery, she pays attention to activating participants’ emotion and thinking, which inspires their initiative thinking and enables them to integrate theories with actual applications. She also values “instructing profound things through easy ways”, using easy-to-understand language and humorous cases to help the participants further understand and grasp the knowledge in the courses. Meanwhile she is recognized as the model of “Walk & Talk” that enhances her convincingness and influence by sharing her own experience.
Besides training, Ms. Huang was also invited to give speeches on “organizational transformation”, “improving employee commitment systematically” and “effective recruitment” etc for Chengdu Business News Entrepreneur Form, Suzhou HR Summit Forum, Job168.com, Zhaopin.com, Nanjing Talent Club, and EMBA of the Capital University of Economics and Business.
