On March 27th-28th, 2013, the 1st session of AMA/WIAL-East China’s Action Learning Coaches Certification Program (Foundation) was successfully completed at the Pullman Shanghai Skyway Hotel. 7 Senior Managers from various enterprises and institutions, including NovoNordisk, Continental, Foresea Life Insurance, WuXi AppTec, CIFI Holdings and BBK, participated.

This certification program’s foundation was taught by Paulina Chu, a WIAL-certified coach and Senior Action Learning Coach. Meanwhile, Jason Zheng, AMA’s Action Learning Director and Certified Action Learning Coach, was also invited to deliver the opening remarks and act as a Shadow Coach during the program to comment on the participants’ performance.

Through of the repeated practices in this 2-day program, the participants have understood WIAL Action Learning’s principles of and the role of an Action Learning coach, acquired the key steps and points in WIAL’s key process, and experienced Action Learning’s 3 distinct powers and its effectiveness. In addition, the program has also helped the “Problem Presenter” find solutions to their confusion.
